Diamond Woman recently partnered with Ericsson Nigeria in commemorating the International Women’s Day through an event titled “On Top of Her Game“.The event which was targeted at the women within the organization held March 6, 2015 at The Avenue Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

In our pressure-filled environment, women who desire a balanced and fulfilling life many times have to work twice as hard as their male counterparts to excel in the various roles they play. Ericsson acknowledges that women have traditionally been underrepresented in engineering and technology fields. Therefore, Diamond Woman supported the organization in its drive to create a platform to engage and empower the women in the organization as a way of bringing about positive change in the status quo.

As such, this event was designed to help women find work-life balance, be empowered and inspired to achieve greatness in the industry while ensuring they pay attention to the total wellness of their being and finances.

The event included sessions on interesting topics and discussions such as: Financial independence: Make it happen by Adaeze Ume representing Diamond Woman, “A Healthy Balance, Body, Mind and Soul” by ArinolaAdebiyi, SPA Director, Venivici Health Club/urban spa and “Work Related Stress and Depressive Illness” by Dr. Chinwe Adebiyi AminaOyegbola, Founder of WISCAR (Women in Successful Careers) ended the lecture series with her talk on “Staying On Top of Your Game”

Anchoring the event was Cordelia Okpei, General Manager, Metro FM who ensured that all the ladies were relaxed and at ease with good music to serenade the day.

It was a well-deserved evening for the Ericsson women as they enjoyed musical performances by Evaeziwhile the seasoned DJ Lambo (a woman) literarily helped keep the ladies on their toes with good musical selections.

It was an awesome way to celebrate women and inspire them to be on top of their game in every aspect of their lives.
